On February 4th, Jefferson celebrated Global School Play Day! Students could bring games, plushies and other toys to play with their classmates!

The Jefferson Student Council has been busy with many heartwarming activities! The council hosted a pajama drive, which allowed students to donate new pajamas to Mercy House, so that they may be given to families in need. 

Additionally, students held a "Soup-er Bowl" fundraiser! Students brought in canned foods/soup that they could place in a Seahawks or Patriots crate. Thank you to all of those who donated, and congratulations to everyone who predicted the right winner! 

In the lead up to P.S. I Love You Day, student council members visited classrooms to talk about ways we can all "Be the Light" in others' lives. Thank you to the members for their great insight and help!

In first grade, students discussed and wrote ways they can make a positive change in our world. Inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., students learned about Dr. King's iconic "I Have a Dream" speech for this "100 Dreams for the World" tree!

Kindness is all about bringing people together, and during this year's Kindness Week, our 5th-grade students partnered up with Kindergarten to read stories and spend some time getting to know each other! 

Jefferson School PTO hosted a Future Self Spirit Day! Students explored what they would like to be when they grow up and came to school dressed for many different bright futures, such as teachers, police officers, doctors, veterinarians, chefs/bakers, professional athletes, and more!
